    Haha, I don't do harsh or grit vocals much, just a few segments here and there... I do teach it and know all of the proper application but I'm not built for prolonged use of either.

    I prefer high wails to both anyway.

    Yes, just don't hurt yourself, easy to do with harsh vocals. Shouldn't be sore when you swallow but proper breath support is the sky.

    Interesting you mention, I am actually a vocal coach. Your vocals sounded straight to me but of course that's after mixing and processing.

    Did it hurt recording it? If so, you need some work so you don't damage yourself, but if not then you're doing fine.
